A quoi tient la magie d'une "superbe" cérémonie comme je pouvais lire dans un des journaux nationaux le lendemain ?
A la beauté du lieu .... et puis au talent de la Wedding-Planner qui conduit en capitaine ce navire qu'est un mariage avec ce moment qu'est la cérémonie ? ... Au live band présent avec des voix superbes ? .... à la fleuriste-designer qui avait habillé de mille fleurs les vieux et beaux platanes du lieu ? ... A l'écoute particulière des invités qui vibre jusqu'à l'officiante dont les antennes l'avertissent des émotions qui flottent ici et là .... Mais enfin surtout aux mariés qui décident d'accorder leur confiance à l'officiante pour que leur histoire soit transmise aux invités sans trahir leur part d'intime.
La cérémonie de Noura et Jo était un de ces moments magiques dans la vie d'une officiante et en quittant les lieux, je m'arrêtai pour boire une citronnade au bar d'accueil des invités et deux jeunes filles s'y trouvaient aussi, et leurs compliments sur la cérémonie en toute sincérité - je leur ai dit du reste - a été la plume de légèreté sur toute cette belle et intense journée !

Creating this particular magical moment for Noura and Jo has been a wonderful challenge for me not to praise to the skies the life of a great champion, neither to drift into flattering. It was a very touching ceremony because of the real feelings, the sincere love-story of the beautiful couple they make and the profound and touching testimonies of the families.
Of course the setting was extraordinary, the venue, the whole organisation and planning, the gospel band and the weather fabulous ... but most of all, the newlyweds radiated their love and happiness to their families and all the guests.
Leaving the ceremony, I stopped at the bar to drink some refreshing lemon-juice, and two teenagers complimented me for the way I officiated the ceremony. Those nice words coming from two young girls were also refreshing and warmed me up at the same time. I turned around for a last glimpse before leaving, and saw all the guests smiling and congratulating the newlyweds warmly. This was a real intense ceremony, the best feeling a celebrant can have before returning home.
